Mission & Goals
Sweeney Consulting provides public affairs and regulatory advice, including intellectual property advice, to clients in industries based on content and media including the video games, digital health, music, cinema and television sectors. It is based in Dublin, Ireland and advises on European affairs at European Union level and national developments and laws in member states.
EU Legislative Interests
Intellectual Property laws and directives including the Copyright Directives, Geoblocking Regulation, Retransmission Directive, Digital Fairness Act. All laws and instruments related to digital media including the Digital Services Act and the Intellectual Property Action Plan. The draft Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act. All initiatives relating to health and the digital sector as to be included in the Commission's Mental Health Action Plan. All initiatives on video games including the proposals contained in own initiative reports of the European Parliamant.
