Mission & Goals
Datavant is a data platform for Health care Datavant's vision is to ensure every health care decision is powered by the right data and at right time to ensure better patient outcome. Our mission is to make all health care data secure, assessable and actionable.
EU Legislative Interests
Datavant want to emphasis the importance of data protection as a foundation for public trust, aligning with EU values and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR). For Datavant, the GDPR is the cornerstone of EU compliance, but the DGA, Data Act, AI Act, and upcoming EHDS are increasingly relevant given the company’s role in health data sharing and interoperability.
Communication Activities
Datavant Ireland are planning to host a visit with EU Commissioner Michael McGrath in our new office in Galway on September 26th 2025. The visit is mainly to show case our new office in Galway and high level discussion on the following - Datavant Galway Success Story & Growth ( goal to hire 125 people by 2027 , 42 hired todate) - Datavants role in Innovation Leadership in Healthcare Data - Ireland/Galway as a Strategic Tech Hub for Datavant - Data Security & Public Trust inline with EU GDPR regulations.
