Mission & Goals
Cybernetica is a private Estonian IT research and development company. The company’s expertise lies in the digital transformation sector, offering legal and policy consultancy as well as developing mission-critical systems for both the public and private sector. Cybernetica focuses on six core areas of operation: data exchange technologies, digital identity technologies, cybersecurity services, tax and customs information systems, defence systems and surveillance systems and marine radio communication. Cybernetica's technologies are rooted in extensive in-house research that is historically focused on cryptology and information security. The company operates the Information Security Research Institute, an accredited research entity. Current research areas of the Information Security Research Institute are secure computing, privacy enhancing technologies, post-quantum cryptography and artificial intelligence.
