EU Legislative Interests
CuspAI is a machine learning company that uses AI to discover novel materials to address global challenges including carbon capture, battery technology, and semiconductor innovation. Our interest in EU policy relates primarily to the EU AI Act and associated regulatory frameworks governing the use of artificial intelligence, as well as EU research and innovation funding programmes (such as Horizon Europe) and policy developments relating to critical raw materials and clean energy technologies. Our interest representation is limited to monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory developments and occasional participation in public consultations. We do not engage in direct lobbying campaigns.

CuspAI is an AI-powered materials discovery company. Our engagement with EU institutions is minimal and incidental to our core business operations. Any activities covered by the Register relate primarily to monitoring regulatory developments relevant to our sector (such as the EU AI Act) and occasional participation in industry consultations. We do not employ dedicated public affairs staff or retain external lobbyists for EU advocacy. Associated costs are limited to a small proportion of senior management time spent monitoring relevant policy developments.
