Mission & Goals

Culture Solutions Europe (culture Solutions, or cS) is an association working towards the recognition of the central role of culture in the European Union’s external relations and promoting International Cultural Relations at large. We do so by producing knowledge on challenges and opportunities met by the EU and other cultural actors in the field of ICR, by advocating for and contributing to trust-based partnerships between Europe and external partners, and by exchanging with, advising and training cultural actors from the EU and beyond on the multi-faceted field of ICR. We believe in culture as a game-changer for building trust and strengthening democracy. Our association was created as an independent and not-for-profit entity, building on a feasibility study and numerous exchanges of views with informed experts and professionals. We work together with all those involved in International Cultural Relations and support EU cultural actors in broadening their scope and understanding.
