Mission & Goals
Promote and advance the common interest of physicians, medical providers, community and others in developing the field of critical limb ischemia healthcare throughout Europe. Improve conditions and activity by contributing to the scientific study of literature, education and treatment of critical limb ischemia. CLIGSEU collaborates with health organisations representing other co-morbidities, healthcare professionals and high-risk groups. Our mission is to reduce the burden amputation by fostering stakeholder communication and cross-disciplinary research in Europe. CLIGSEU is an independent organisation of socially-concerned members and partners and do not receive monetary compensation for its work.
EU Legislative Interests
Focus on the European Health Union. Horizon Europe and EU4health funding opportunities and topic priorities. Specific interest include the EU NCD initiative and European Health Data Space. Other areas of interest include integrated care, patient centered care, health system efficiency and reimbursement policies throughout the EU.
Communication Activities
The goal of the Critical Limb Ischemia Global Society EU is to raise awareness, provide guidelines and requirements for the treatment of critical limb ischemia and the prevention of unnecessary amputations, by organizing seminars, discussion groups and webinars on these topics.
