Mission & Goals
CRH manufactures and supplies a diverse range of superior building materials and products for use in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure, housing and commercial projects. Our materials and products are used extensively, in construction projects of all sizes, all across the world. We are a leader in sustainable building materials and are uniquely placed to integrate materials, value-added products and building solutions, which play an important role in shaping a more sustainable built environment.
EU Legislative Interests
CRH follows EU activities and initiatives connected to construction, construction-related standards (e.g. CE marking), climate change policies, energy (including energy efficiency in buildings), the circular economy and European Green Deal (e.g. Waste Framework Directive), environmental regulation, waste policy, water policy, innovation, sustainable finance and construction, renovation wave and industrial strategy.
Communication Activities
CRH is a member of Cembureau which aims to promote the role of concrete in sustainable construction. CRH also works with a number of other industry associations including the Global Cement Concrete Association, The Concrete Sustainability Council and The European Ready Mixed Concrete Association amongst others.
