CEIA S.p.A. with Headquarters in Italy, Zona Industriale Viciomaggio (Arezzo) is a world leading manufacturing company of screening equipment in the fields of security, industry, military, humanitarian with 55 years of experience. The core technology is the electromagnetic field applied for the security screening, humanitarian and industrial applications.
EU Legislative Interests
To provide support related to regulations on civil aviation and security screening of passengers. To provide support related to regulations on security protection of public places.
Communication Activities
-We are invited to the Technical Working Group on Detection by DG Home Protect Team; -We have contacts with MEPs and their assistants; -We provide information material, such as test reports and white papers, contributing with our technical expertise to the EU institutions (we have an accredited laboratory competent in matter of electromagnetism). -We also in some occasion provide formal consultations or hearings on envisaged EU legislative or other legal acts and other open consultations.
