Mission & Goals

The Coordination Office (KOO) represents the interests of 35 organisations involved in development cooperation and development education. These organisations promote cooperation in development as well as in emergency aid and rehabilitation in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Most of the members conduct fundraising activities or receive public or dipcesan funds to finance projects in developing countries. Few members send experts to countries in the Global South, while still others support focus on development education and awareness raising. KOO has its main areas of work in connecting und coordinating stakeholders, advocacy and lobbying.
