Mission & Goals
CCC Europe is a non-partisan, independent consumer advocacy organization founded in 2024. Our mission is to promote innovative, consumer-centric technology and innovation policies across Europe. Our objectives: 1) Educate consumers, innovators, and policymakers on best practices in policy design and implementation within the EU and beyond. 2) Represent the perspectives of European consumers and innovators in EU policy discussions. 3) Highlight key developments in European policy debates for a diverse audience of consumers and innovators. 4) Collaborate with stakeholders and thought leaders to assess the impact of EU policies on consumer choice and innovation
EU Legislative Interests
Artificial intelligence: the EU Artificial Intelligence Act; the GPAI Code of Practice Access to data: the EU’s Data Union Strategy; a targeted review of the GDPR (as part of other initiatives) Simplification & better regulation: the EU’s simplification efforts through the Digital Omnibus; updates to the Better Regulation framework Improved business climate: the 28th regime Consumer agenda: the Digital Fairness Act Privacy & security: CSAR (“Chat Control”); the Cybersecurity Act; the 5G Security Toolbox Net neutrality: the Digital Networks Act and other proposals, initiatives, and policies related to digital and innovation policy, on which we comment on an ad hoc basis.
Communication Activities
1. Moderating and speaking at various panel debates and roundtables on the EU's digital policy (throughout the year) for both industry associations, public sector, and media across the EU (free of charge). 2. Articles on our tech-reg blog https://eutechloop.com/archive/ (around 80 articles per year). 3. Meetings with MEP teams, MEPs, and PermReps (January - March 2025). 4. Interviews for media outlets (radio shows, tv). 5. Co-signing letters initiated by other organisations.

We are not currently members of other associations, confederations, networks, or other bodies.
