Mission & Goals
The French National Order of Dentists [ONCD] is the regulatory body in charge of granting access to the regulated dental profession and in charge of monitoring its exercise. The Order is neither an association nor a trade union. It is a private body with legal personality, missioned by the legislator to perform a public service mission. It ensures that the principles of morality, probity, competence and dedication essential to the practice of the profession of dental surgeon are maintained and that all its members observe their professional duties and ethical rules in the benefit of patient's safety.
