Mission & Goals
The ECEC is the umbrella organisation of European Engineers Chambers. It represents the professional interest of Chartered Engineers on European level. Its members are national Chambers or other legally established public bodies representing authorized Chartered Engineers. Currently the ECEC represents 17 Chambers and over 300.000 highly qualified European Chartered Engineers who are members in these Chambers. European Chartered Engineers in ECEC countries are legally authorized academic Engineers who are obliged to professional legislation and the ethical and professional principles of the ECEC Code of Conduct and the ECEC Code of Quality. Knowledge, experience and know-how together with a high standard of ethical and moral demands guarantee the highest level of quality of engineering services. The protection of consumer interests, public interest and safety is warranted by legal authorization and disciplinary regulations.
