Mission & Goals
The European Connected Health Alliance, under the brand of Global Health Connector since Sept 2025, facilitating multi-stakeholder connections around ecosystems, driving sustainable change and disruption in the delivery of health and social care. Our global network of Digital Health Ecosystems connects 80 countries (Europe, USA, Canada, Africa, Asia, Australia), Our community of over 25,000 experts – including government, health & social care providers, leading companies and start-ups, researchers, insurances, patients groups and citizens, and the investment community connect through ecosystem meetings (200 per year) and international events and our online platform. The Digital Health Society (DHS) movement facilitates and promote the transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices creating a community of knowledge in the area of the secondary use of health data. We oganise multi-stakeholder events to connect, convene, amplify and accelerate digital health tranformation.
EU Legislative Interests
Our Missions INFLUENCE We work closely with the European Commission and national/regional governments, for the design of public policies and strategies about Digital Health and Health Data. PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE & INTELLIGENCE We provide information, news, reports, insights about the digital health markets, digital health solutions, conditions for uptake of the digital health solutions, the latest technology trends, business and research opportunities, etc… CONNECT & NETWORK We are a large community of 25,000+ individuals and 1100+ member organisations, gathering governments , academia, business and society. Among them policy-makers, health & social care providers & professionals, companies (large, Start-ups, SMEs), universities & research centres, public & private insurers, patients & citizens representatives and investors. INNOVATE We support our members along their innovation process, from the identification of unmet needs, the specifications by users (professionals, patients/citizens) and funders, to the development of innovative products and services with high-level experts in numbers of sectors, such as IT, web technologies, medical devices, pharma, genomics, clinical teams, big data, AI, wearables. IMPLEMENT & SCALE-UP We have built a large international Ecosystem distribution network, able to support policy-makers and insurances in identifying the best solutions to their needs, and the companies to commercialise and scale-up their solutions. We have designed a specific pathway facilitated by the enabling environment of our Ecosystems, accelerating the implementation of innovative solutions. COMMUNICATE & DISSEMINATE We promote the deployment of the Digital Health solutions, also based on the secondary use of health data. We showcase our members’ projects and activities on an international scene, thanks to multi-channel set of communication tools (web platform, social networks, events, workshops, media…). INTERNATIONAL All our activities are deployed at large scale, in 80+ regions and countries, across Europe, USA, Canada and China. Our impact and presence have been shown at the Digital Health & Wellness Summits @ Mobile World Congress Barcelona and Kigali.

Organisation of annual Digital Health & Wellness Summits as part of 4YFN Mobile World Congress, Barcelona - 5 March 2025 in Barcelona. Continuing development of the International Network of Connected Health Ecosystems and Network of the Thematic Innovation Ecosystems with 200+ meetings per year. Global Health Connector Partnership Since 2020, ECHAlliance leads the Global Health Connector Partnership with the aim to to improve health and care for citizens worldwide through the appropriate use of digital technologies in the provision of health and care services. The GHCP includes organisations from Canada, Africa, India, US, Europe, and Commonwealth: HLTH, ATA, Health Parliament, Africa Health Business, CWCDH and is evolving. ECHAlliance Coalition of the Willing ECHAlliance leads a Coalition of the Willing (CW), made up of CORAL, EUREGHA and the Reference Site Collaborative Network, all coming together to work together to deliver the changes needed across Europe that will ultimately deliver improved, sustainable health and care services, improve the wellbeing of our people and ultimately support the successful implementation of the Triple Win for Europe.
