Mission & Goals
Denmark’s green think tank CONCITO conveys new and proven climate solutions to politicians, companies and citizens. CONCITOs purpose is to translate knowledge into action by channeling science and knowledge-based analyses and information on pathways towards a net-zero emission and climate robust society. As part of this purpose, CONCITO has establised a EU programme to focus and extend its activies to the European agenda. CONCITO is involved in a number of international networks with other think tanks worldwide e.g. the World Resources Institute in the U.S., and the European Climate Foundation in the Hague. CONCITO is independent of political and commercial interests.

Communication Activities
We will be active on the discussion on the new 2040 climate target as well as the climate architecture. We give input to the European Commission, Danish Government and other national authorities for many the files mentioned above. We will seek to have a fruitful dialogue with especially the European Comission and national authorities about the future revision of emissions trading, RefuelEU Aviation, LULUCF Regulation etc. – as we have done many times before. We have dialogue with the European Commission on the future CAP, the CRCF, and a new study to improve the understanding of climate change mitigation policy options across the agri-food value chain for the post-2030 framework. We will engage in the discussion on simplification regarding the value-chain regulation (e.g. Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive), and we will look more into the compliance of the Governance Regulation.
