Mission & Goals
CONCITO is Denmark's leading climate think tank. CONCITO aims to translate relevant knowledge into climate action and thereby accelerate the green transition in Denmark and internationally. Through scientific and knowledge-based analyses and information, the aim is to show how it is possible to create a climate-neutral and climate-resilient society. As part of this purpose, CONCITO has an EU Unit to focus and extend its activies to the European agenda. CONCITO is involved in a number of international networks with other think tanks worldwide e.g. the World Resources Institute in the U.S., and the European Climate Foundation in the Hague. CONCITO is independent of political and commercial interests.

Communication Activities
We give input to the European Commission, Member States, and the European Parliament for many the files mentioned above. We have been active on the discussion on the new 2040 climate target and are active on the post-2030 national climate targets and flexibilities. We have and will give input to the EU renewable energy and energy efficiency rules for the decade ahead. We will seek to have a fruitful dialogue with especially the European Comission and national authorities about the future reviews of emissions trading, RefuelEU Aviation, LULUCF Regulation etc. – as we have done many times before. We have dialogue with the European Commission on the future CAP, the CRCF, and EUDR. We will engage in the discussion on simplification regarding the value-chain regulation.
