Mission & Goals

We are AGRO-PARTNER Kaplan DOOEL, a diversified conglomerate with activities in import-export, wholesale and retailing, and production. Our core business is fashion apparel importation and distribution through own retail network and wholesale partners in North Macedonia and abroad. We further possess an autonomous production facility with specialization in upholstered furniture, providing quality goods to the local showrooms and retailers. Looking ahead, we are strategically expanding into high-end manufacturing by building a new-generation production plant for carbon and glass fiber composites—essential materials for the automotive, shipbuilding, construction, and renewable energy industries. The investment has as its goal increasing the industrial capability in the region and positioning the Western Balkans as a competitive and reliable source of high-performance composite materials in EU value chains.

EU Legislative Interests

Our investment strategy aligns with the EU's industrial and climate strategies, with their highest priorities focusing on increasing European industrial resilience, reducing supply chain dependence and constructing the twin transitions – green and digital. The project enables the use of a series of pioneering EU policy blueprints. Through the integration of photovoltaic solar systems in the factory and using high-level energy-saving technology, the project supports the climate neutrality, resource efficiency and carbon footprint reduction aspiration of the EU. Besides, through establishing a website of safe production of carbon and glass fiber composites in the Western Balkans, the project supports the EU's intentions for the Western Balkans, supporting industrial modernization and deeper EU single market integration of the economy. The project also reflects the intentions by indirectly lowering dependence on global supply chains related to carbon-intensive inputs as well as lowering energy-intensive transport from foreign producers. By this project, we don't only make Europe technologically sovereign, but we also establish a model of sustainable industrialization that fits the EU's strategic vision for the long term.
