Mission & Goals
Coinstar is a large network of coin-cashing machines operating in various EU member states including France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Spain. At Coinstar we believe maintaining customers’ ability to pay by cash and coins is vital for consumer choice, the resilience of the financial system, and individuals’ ability to manage their money.
EU Legislative Interests
We are now working to understand the legislative proposals and policies applicable to the access and acceptance of cash for the 2030 Euro system cash strategy.
Communication Activities
In 2025, we are planning to carry the following activities covered by the register: 1. Organize and participate to meetings, conferences and events with the EU institutions 2. Contribute to public consultations, hearings or other similar initiatives 3. Conduct opinion polls and surveys to inform the public debate 4. Redact and publish policy and position papers
