Mission & Goals

Cogeas’s primary focus is on providing high-value consultancy and support services to public administrations at European, national and regional levels, specifically around EU-funded programmes. Its core business areas include: Technical Assistance: end-to-end support for the design, start-up, implementation and governance of EU programmes, advising on technical, economic-financial and regulatory aspects. Evaluation: independent ex-ante, in-itinere and ex-post evaluations of EU policies and programmes (notably in agriculture and regional development). Financial controls: carrying out physical, economic, financial and procedural monitoring to ensure compliance with co-financing rules for beneficiaries of EU and national funds. Socio-economic studies and services: over the years Cogea has carried out many contracts for several DGs of the European Commission, as well as for the EU Parliament.
