Mission & Goals
The non-profit purpose of the Association shall be, within the European Union and worldwide, to: (a) Promote the development and market deployment of sustainable industrial solutions that convert CO2 into valuable products, in order to contribute to the net reduction of global CO2 emissions and to the diversification of the feedstock base; (b) Provide common means and services, related to CCU development, to its Members, to improve the activities of its Members in particular, and to improve synergies, joint actions and projects between the Members in general; (c) Develop an ambitious and integrated research and innovation vision to develop (CCU) over the medium/long term, and (d) Stimulate the development of a favourable regulatory framework to facilitate the conversion. (e) To the extent necessary for the purposes above, represent, promote and defend in the broadest sense of the word the common interests of its Members in particular, and those of the industry stakeholders (...)

Communication Activities
CO2 Value Europe represents the Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) community in Europe. It publishes scientific articles, reports, position papers and news pieces to promote CCU as one of the levers to contribute to mitigate climate change. It advocates for the inclusion of CCU in relevant EU policies, in particular for CCU fuels, CCU chemicals and CCU mineralisation. It participates to conferences, forums, alliances and debates around climate solutions to advocate for CCU as one of the ways to defossilise emissions and production processes by valorising unavoidable carbon emissions.
