Mission & Goals
TAROM – Romanian Air Transport was established in 1954 and has grown alongside the development of Romanian aviation. The Romanian flag carrier has been a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 1993. The company operates flights to more than 50 destinations, including those served through its code-share partners. TAROM is currently undergoing a fleet modernization program, aiming to enhance comfort, efficiency, and sustainability. On June 25, 2010, TAROM joined SkyTeam – a global airline alliance that offers customers access to an extensive worldwide network with more destinations, frequencies, and seamless connections.
EU Legislative Interests
Invitation for TAROM CEO - Mr. Bogdan COSTAS to attend the meeting: Strengthening the Multiannual Financial Framework to adapt to the current and future needs of local communities and to stimulate economic competitiveness at national and regional level. The event will take place at the European Parliament, Brussels, on 12 May 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
