Mission & Goals
CMBlu Energy AG is a German clean-tech company founded in 2014. The company develops and industrializes large-scale battery energy storage systems based on its proprietary Organic SolidFlow technology. Its systems are designed to provide safe, non-flammable and resource-independent long-duration energy storage to support grid stability and the integration of renewable energy sources. CMBlu operates a 1 GWh prototype battery factory in Germany as part of its scale-up and industrialization activities. The company currently focuses on technology development, validation, and preparation for large-scale manufacturing. CMBlu employs approximately 250 people, including more than 150 scientists and engineers, reflecting its strong research and innovation orientation. The company contributes to European technology development, industrial competitiveness and energy sovereignty.
