Mission & Goals
Climate Farmers Academy gUG is a European non-profit organisation dedicated to accelerating the transition towards regenerative agriculture. We support farmers, agronomists and universities through training programmes, peer-learning networks and outcome-based measurement frameworks focused on soil health, biodiversity and climate resilience. Our work connects practical farm-level implementation with education, research and policy dialogue. By strengthening agronomic capacity and promoting systemic innovation in land stewardship, we aim to contribute to resilient rural economies, improved ecosystem services and long-term sustainability of European agricultural landscapes.
EU Legislative Interests
Climate Farmers Academy’s work is aligned with key European Union strategies including the European Green Deal, the Farm to Fork Strategy, the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, the EU Soil Strategy for 2030, and the EU Climate Law. We engage in dialogue related to the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), particularly regarding sustainable land management, soil health and climate resilience. Our activities also relate to discussions surrounding nature restoration, sustainable food systems and long-term agricultural competitiveness within the EU.
Communication Activities
Climate Farmers Academy organises training programmes, expert workshops and public events addressing regenerative agriculture, soil health and sustainable land stewardship in the context of EU policy developments. We collaborate with European universities and research institutions to integrate regenerative practices into higher education. The organisation participates in conferences, stakeholder dialogues and policy discussions related to the European Green Deal and CAP implementation. We publish reports, case studies and knowledge resources that contribute to informed debate on agricultural resilience, land use and ecosystem restoration across Member States.
