Mission & Goals
The Clean Europe Network is a pan-European platform where organisations active in the field of litter prevention share experience, expertise, best practice and research with a view to improving litter prevention across the EU. It aims to develop common programmes/ methodologies in areas where there is an added value in an European approach.
EU Legislative Interests
We are currently following the implementation into national law of EU Member States concerning the revised Directive on Waste 2008/ 98/ EC, the EU Action Plan for Circular Economy and of the EU Plastic Strategy , namely the EU Directive on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment ((EU)2019/904).

Additional Information
In 2025, no action falling under the scope of the Transparency Register has been taken, as far as I am aware, by the Clean Europe Network. Meanwhile, as a matter of Transparency, the Clean Europe Network (and its subcontractor 'Eamonn Bates Europe') has been declaring the smallest possible category of 'Representation costs', to be on the safe side.
