Mission & Goals
The Choices mission is to help shaping national food systems to make the healthy choice the easy choice for consumers. The food system is a complex and complicated thing. Changing it demands a variety of actions, honest collaboration and a long term commitment. Choices wants to improve daily diets by guiding consumers to find healthier products, guiding industry to improve their products and collaborating with food & health authorities to shape effective nutrition policies.
EU Legislative Interests
1. Choices International represents the national Choices program in Czech Republic. 2. Choices International supports the national healthy food logo program in Croatia and provides information for national debates on front-of-pack labelling 3. Choices International drives the European Positive Logo Movement that brings together the 10 European countries with a positive logo 4. Choices International supports the Choices European Scientific Committee that stimulates and monitors European studies on the impact of front-of-pack labelling e.g. CLYMBOL 5. Choices International shares knowledge with DG Santé and JRC upon request
