Mission & Goals
Checkpoint Systems is a global leader in intelligent solutions for merchandise visibility solutions, asset tracking and logistics for major global brands. A division of CCL Industries, the largest label producer in the world, we're guided by our commitment to sourcing sustainable materials for our labels and packaging to reduce their environmental impact. Our innovations take into account the effect the materials and processes used have, as well as the business objectives of our brands and their end-consumers.
EU Legislative Interests
EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) we are a labelling manufacturer so we produce DPP Carriers - QR codes, NFC and RFID smart labelling solutions. We also have our own DPP solution as a service provider to our customers to manage, store and display the data for the DPP. Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation (ESPR) - our customer are fashion brands so directly affected by the delegated acts of the ESPR. As we also collect data from our customers to produce labelling products, we can support with decision making on best practice.
Communication Activities
Checkpoint is a member of CIRPASS-2 Expert Working Group for Textiles. We therefore would like to be involved in the public consultation for anything related to the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and Delegated Acts of the Eco design for Sustainable Product Regulation (ESPR)
