Mission & Goals
Located in Saint-Nazaire (France), Chantiers de l’Atlantique (CdA) is the biggest single shipyard in Europe employing 4000 persons with a total ship building capacity of 420,000 GRT per year. Thanks to its facilities (108 hectares yard with a huge 1 200 m long and 65 m wide drydock served by a massive 1400 tons gantry crane) and its continuous effort and investment in Research and Development programs, the company has a strong position in terms of developing state-of-the-art concepts, technology and processes with a long history of designing and delivering breakthrough innovative naval vessels, cruise ships and offshore installations.
