Change The Law Limited was founded in 2003 and works to contribute to the observance throughout the world of human rights as set out in the “Universal Declaration of human Rights” (UDHR). The focus is on the change and progress, and the influence on international policies and international legal systems on human rights, business and human rights, corporate sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance factors. April 2018, Change The Law Limited is the founder of an international group which now has 86 members who are Lawyers, Barristers, Academics, NGO’s, members of the IBA and UN, Expert Practitioners and Business Leaders, in 26 countries. The Mission of the group is to train law students and legal practitioners on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights on the implications of human rights in their legal practice, to ensure standards are met globally consistently with best practice in Ethics and Professional Standards.

EU Legislative Interests

Submission to the EU on the EU Regulation on Mandatory Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence. Antitrust Legalisation, Alternate Disputes Resolution Policies, Rule of Law Issues, Human Rights Issues, Business and Human Rights Issues, Environmental Law Issues, Climate Change Justice, Human Trafficking. Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

Communication Activities

Founded in April 2018, Change The Law Limited is the founder of an international group which now has 84 members who are Lawyers, Barristers, Academics, NGO’s, members of the IBA and UN, Expert Practitioners and Business Leaders, in 26 countries. The Mission of the group is to train law students and legal practitioners on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights on the implications of human rights in their legal practice, to ensure standards are met globally consistently with best practice in Ethics and Professional Standards. The EU Regulation on Mandatory Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence will influence and change international legal standards. Known as the CSDDD.
