Mission & Goals
With over 30 years of experience in bridge weigh-in-motion measurements, bridge assessments and traffic data, we are one of the world’s leading companies in the fields of high-speed weigh-in-motion and traffic analysis. By adding additional structural health monitoring sensors, cameras, traffic counters, and other devices, we get a comprehensive system that can be used by law enforcement, bridge or traffic experts.
EU Legislative Interests
We are interested in the European Commission's program Global Gateway Investment Agenda (GGIA), in particular the segment related to the LAC (Latin America and Caribbean) countries. This program seeks to create a partnership where the public sector of Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean link up with the private sector to generate business investments to contribute to wealthier societies to the benefit of all. Our product SiWIM can bring substantial benefit to the GGIA-LAC program and to LAC countries. By using SiWIM roads and bridges can achieve higher safety and longer lifespan at lower costs. In addition longer roads/bridges lifespan in turn also brings a positive effect on sustainability/environment through lower natural resources consumption and CO2 emissions. Road infrastructure is one of the most important pillars for the economic growth of a country. Therefore SiWIM through safe, appropriate, long-lasting and cost-efficient road infrastructure could help LAC countries to achieve a sustainable, equal and inclusive economic growth.
Communication Activities
GGIA-LAC organises meetings of EU and LAC institutions (public sector) and companies (private sector), organise working groups and drive initiatives to promote the cooperation. We would like to take part in these activities.
