Mission & Goals
CERIC is the Central European European Research Infrastructure Consortium. It is an ERIC set-up by 8 Member Countries to integrate and support the research and access capabilities of selected analytical facilities and provide open access to researchers selected on excellence. Its mandate includes policy deveopments to help science and industry advance in all fields of materials, biomaterials and nanotechnology, with a focus on energy materials and life sciences. It enables the delivery of innovative solutions to societal challenges in the fields of energy, health, food, cultural heritage and more.
EU Legislative Interests
Development of the European Research Area, possible amendments to Regulations related to the ERICs, to the Framework Programmes, and any other legislative action connected to Research and Innovation. Involvment in public consultations as integral part of the preparation of the European Research Area Act.

Organisation of meetings of ERICs' and in general ResearcH policy representatives; Meetings and evaluations for the CERIC Member Governments
