EU Legislative Interests

Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules to prevent and combat child sexual abuse, EU Strategy on Combatting Child Sexual Abuse. The organisation’s activities in relation to these EU initiatives are limited to expert input, knowledge-sharing and implementation-oriented discussions in the context of participation in a European Commission expert group.

Communication Activities

Communication activities related to EU child rights policies include: – Organisation of conferences, seminars and training events addressing the prevention of violence against children and child protection standards in line with EU policies – Awareness-raising campaigns aimed at professionals and the general public on child safety, protection and well-being – Contribution to public discussions and policy-related debates through expert input and publications
