EU Legislative Interests

CMSD’s work relates to EU policies on youth participation, democratic governance, multilateral cooperation, and European external action. While we do not engage in direct advocacy on specific legislative proposals, our research and analysis are relevant to the following EU policy frameworks: - EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027, particularly regarding youth engagement in policymaking. - European Democracy Action Plan (EDAP), including transparency, civic participation, and information integrity. - EU Global Strategy and broader EU External Action priorities on multilateralism and diplomacy. - EU’s Agenda for Multilateralism, including EU engagement within the UN, G20, and other multilateral forums. - EU Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policies, relevant to our work on governance, institutional resilience, and regional cooperation. - Digital Services Act and EU digital governance initiatives, in relation to public information, the digital public sphere, and democratic participation. Through independent research, publications, and knowledge dissemination, CMSD supports a deeper understanding of these EU policy areas and their implications for global governance.

Communication Activities

Our communication activities focus on sharing independent analysis and explanatory content related to the EU Global Strategy, democratic governance, and multilateral cooperation. We publish short insights, infographics, and carousels on our social media channels and website to inform our community about key EU policy developments. These activities are purely informational and do not involve direct advocacy. We also disseminate our publications and updates through LinkedIn to broaden public understanding of EU affairs.
