CGD works to reduce global poverty and improve lives through innovative economic research that drives better policy and practice by the world's top decision makers. Our work is nonpartisan, and our recommendations are not influenced by our funders. We are willing to challenge powerful institutions and the status quo for better development practices. Communication Activities
With rigorous economic research and practical policy solutions, we focus on the issues and institutions that are critical to global development. The Center for Global Development generates new ideas, publishes actionable policy proposals, and independent research. We engage in outreach for these ideas and policy proposals, organise events and attend bilateral meetings or events related to our research.
