The role of machinery in sustainable food chains

Mission & Goals

CEMA is the European association representing the agricultural machinery industry. It represents and promotes the interests of this industry sector on a European level by co-ordinating the views of the national associations and their members. It provides know-how of the sector to the European institutions and other organizations to achieve a fair competitive environment via harmonized standards and regulations. It also informs members about the latest developments in related European legislation.

Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Agricultural Research (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe) Precision Farming Carbon Farming Regenerative Agriculture Industrial Policy / Internal Market / Better Regulation Diesel engine emission limits, EU type-approval of agricultural vehicles (‘Mother’ Regulation 167/2013), EU road safety rules for agricultural Non-Road Mobile Machines (NRMMs), Machinery Product Regulation, Market Surveillance, SME policy.
