Caterpillar engages in the following policy issues: Infrastructure; Industrial and Manufacturing; Access to Raw Materials - Trade: EU bilateral trade relations; WTO; Transatlantic relations; Services / Digital trade; Customs; Export controls; Trade policy instruments - European Digital Strategy: Cybersecurity; AI; Access to data - Environmental policy: Circular economy; Chemicals legislation; Ecodesign; Batteries; Waste; EU energy & climate policies; Sustainability-related initiatives - EU Single Market: Market surveillance; Machinery regulation; Specific legislation applicable to the non-road mobile machinery sector

Communication Activities

Caterpillar occasionally participates in business delegations (such as EP plenary in Strasbourg; countries holding the EU presidency) organised by its trade and industry associations. Caterpillar also engages with the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) through our memberships in national associations.
