Mission & Goals
The Caribbean ASEAN Voluntary Council for Sustainable Development Goals is a non-government non-profit association that connects the Caribbean and Southeast Asian regions with the world. The Council's activities incorporates varied levels of commercial and cultural diplomacy, and are set upon and aligned under the guidance of the global goals on sustainable development. The Council is committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4, promoting Quality Education. Through its advocacy program, the Asia Caribbean Open Institute - Akademie fur Hochschulbildung, the Council actively supports the following international frameworks: the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's Recommendation on Open Educational Resources, the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education, and the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region instituted by the Council of Europe.

Our organization places a high priority on supporting initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This commitment extends to a particular focus on climate change policies and related agendas. We believe that addressing this critical issue is essential for the well-being of our planet and future generations.
