The main EU legislative proposals and policies targeted in the last cycle include the following: - Stakeholder survey to support the development of a future European Union Integrated Approach to Fragility – DG ECHO - Motion for a European Parliament Resolution on humanitarian aid in a time of polycrisis – reaffirming our principles for a more effective and ambitious response to humanitarian crises (2025/2085(INI)) - Open public consultation on the Gender Equality Strategy 2026-2030 COM(2025) 570 final_ Communication from the Commission on a dynamic EU Budget for the priorities of the future - The Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034 - Motion for a European Parliament Resolution on financing for development – ahead of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville (2025/2004(INI)) - European Parliament resolution of 13 February 2025 on the escalation of violence in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (2025/2553(RSP)) - European Parliament resolution of 12 March 2025 on the need for EU support towards a just transition and reconstruction in Syria (2025/2569(RSP)) - Council conclusions on stepping up Team Europe’s support to global food security and nutrition – December 2024

Communication Activities

As a humanitarian organisation, we actively participated at the European Humanitarian Forum 2025 alongside our partners. In coalition with other organisations, we regularly advocate for the advancement of the fight against global poverty and world hunger, as well as for the delivery of emergency relief and long-term international development projects—through public letters, official statements to EU institutions and social media messaging. We actively participate in the Conferences of the Parties (COP) on Climate Change.
