Mission & Goals
Galvanized by scientific consensus that the world needs to remove and manage gigatons of carbon dioxide to protect our planet, the Carbon Business Development Council is a nonprofit that helps support the responsible deployment of carbon removal. One of our flagship initiatives is running the Carbon Business Council, a coalition of organizations unified to restore the climate. We support multiple verticals for carbon removal, including enhanced weathering (known as the Enhanced Weathering Alliance), marine carbon removal (known as the mCDR Coalition), and more.
