Mission & Goals
CaraDem is an Irish-led, independent, not-for-profit organisation, committed to encouraging democratic governance. Our founding group is comprised of Irish and international leaders with backgrounds in public service, business, politics, and civil society. CaraDem partners with international institutions, political parties, governments, economic actors, and civil society to facilitate the development of enduring solutions, grounded in democratic principles. Our approach is deeply collaborative, harnessing the diverse expertise of our team and Ireland’s century-long experience as an independent democracy.

We are not currently members of any associations, federations, confederations, networks or other structures outside of EU institutions. We also do not associate with, sponsor, or contribute to entities or structures. We are a newly formed organisation (registered 8th May 2025: https://core.cro.ie/e-commerce/company/search/5546933), and even though we will be members of, and will associate with, various entities and structures when we have become properly established, we are not members of anything at present.
