Mission & Goals
The Car Rental Council of Ireland is the representative trade association of businesses in the car rental industry in Ireland. The Council's objectives are: a) To establish and maintain an organisation fully representative of car rental businesses in Ireland. b) To establish, maintain and enforce a code of conduct for member companies designed to provide a high standard of customer service. c) To promote the profile of member companies and the sector to the public. d) To liaise and negotiate with Government, Public Agencies and Port Authorities as required to maintain a positive business environment for member companies. e) To communicate relevant business information in a timely fashion to member companies. f) To arrange training and development activities for member companies. g) To provide appropriate commercial services to member companies and to arrange legal, accounting or commercial consultancy services as required. h) To use the good offices of the Council to settle disputes
