Mission & Goals
Canva is a global online visual communications platform on a mission to empower the world to design. It’s a simple way to create beautiful designs from presentations to infographics, videos, t-shirts, websites and social media graphics. Canva was founded by Melanie Perkins, Cliff Obrecht and Cameron Adams in 2012 before launching in August 2013. From the very beginning we’ve had the crazy big goal of making design accessible to everyone. We’re leveling the playing field and democratizing access to design and visual communication by empowering 100% of the world to communicate in a way that was once limited to the 1%.
