Mission & Goals
The CCAC is the Canadian oversight system for the use of animals in science. The CCAC develop Standards for the ethical use and care of animals in science in Canada and certifies institutions using animals in science.

Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2010 on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes Discuss to ensure that Canadian requirements for the use of animal in science meet the European ones to facilitate research collaboration between European and Canadian institutions.
