Mission & Goals
Butterfly Network is an innovative digital healthcare company, operating in multiple EU Member States, that aims to create sustainable healthcare solutions and increase access to and use of medical ultrasound services wherever care is being delivered (including remote areas with limited healthcare resources and infrastructure), through a combination of ultrasound technology, intuitive software, services and educational offerings. Butterfly Network has developed the first handheld, single-probe whole-body ultrasound system powered by semiconductor technology in the world: the Butterfly iQ (followed by iQ+ and iQ3, which is pending EU regulatory approval), an innovative cost-effective technology based on a single semiconductor silicon chip, replacing piezoelectric crystals used by most traditional ultrasound devices. Butterfly also leverages the benefits of artificial intelligence and cloud computing to deliver advanced, easy-to-use imaging designed for the digital age.
