Mission & Goals
The Non-Entrepreneurial (Non-Commercial) Legal Entity 'Business to Business' (ID: 405740701; Legal Address: Georgia, Tbilisi, Saburtalo District, Mirian Mephe Str., N78) was established on November 4, 2024 and is acting as EBA Georgia to support businesses in Georgia by advocating for their needs on a local and international level, promoting their brands, creating networking opportunities, acting as a trusted connection to Europe and facilitating the export of goods and services to the EU. EU Legislative Interests
One of the key objectives of the 'Business for Business' is to help companies maximize the benefits of the DCFTA. Another objective is to advocate for business' interests on various local and international platforms, while also addressing the necessary progress in economic reforms, as outlined in the EU Commission's annual reports on Georgia, to bring Georgian legislation closer to the EU acquis. One of the key focus areas for 'Business for Business' is promoting Sustainable Connectivity, aligned with EU transport policy (Chapter 14). This involves actively supporting Georgia in aligning with and implementing the transport acquis across all sectors and levels of government. Another priority is fostering Competition, in line with EU Competition Policy (Chapter 8), by contributing to the harmonization of Georgia’s legal framework on antitrust, mergers, and State aid with the EU acquis. Additionally, 'Business for Business' facilitates SME Internationalization by improving Georgian companies’ access to information about existing EU co-funded instruments and projects in the field of internationalization. 'Business for Business' plans to periodically draft position papers on these key issues and present them to the relevant stakeholders on local and EU Institutions level.
