Mission & Goals
- to monitor and report on human rights, environmental and socio economic conditions of the Tibetans inside Tibet and keep the governments, Parliaments and NGOs informed of the recent developments in Tibet. - to serve as a liaison office and source of information on matters relating to Tibetans inside and outside Tibet, including history, culture, religion, environment and all aspects of the Tibetan way of life. - to maintain direct contact with governments, Parliaments, non-governmental organisations and human rights groups. The Bureau du Tibet established in 2001 in Brussels is the official agency of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration-in-Exile based in Dharamsala, India.
