Mission & Goals
The BVOED functions as the German Section of SGI Europe (EU Social Partner). The BVOED gathers enterprises and organisations from Germany, both public and public-private, which are represented as public employers or providers of services of general interest.
EU Legislative Interests
Activities concerning infrastructures of general interest and public services as water, waste, energy, public transport, or social services. In addition, policies related to the Social Dialogue. bvöd works on the Public Procurement Directives, General Block Exemption Regulation, initiatives stemming from the Clean Industrial Deal, The European Pillar of Social Rights.
Communication Activities
Projects, events and public relation activities are mainly organised via SGI Europe.
