Mission & Goals
The Bundesverband Nordisches Modell e.V. (BVNM) calls for the implementation of the Nordic Model, internationally known as Equality Model, with its four pillars: 1. Decriminalization of prostituted people, 2. exit assistance, protection and support for prostituted people, 3. education and prevention, 4. criminalization of sex buyers, pimps, brothel operators and human traffickers. The BVNM represents initiatives, networks and individuals from civil society who call for a change in prostitution policy. We demand the recognition of prostitution as a form of violence and are advocating for a progressive prostitution policy on the basis of universal human rights and in full solidarity with prostituted people. What we reject is the system of prostitution. We network national and international experts and organizations, we organize information events for civil society and raise awareness about the realities of prostitution.
