Mission & Goals
The German Association of Organic Farmers, Food Processors and Retailers (BÖLW) represents the organic sector in Germany. BÖLW strives for a better understanding of the environmental and economic benefits of organic production in the political and public arena. BÖLW lobbies for an efficient and supportive regulatory framework and business conditions that enable the organic sector to develop its full potential for society and the environment. BÖLW supports its member organisations by providing regular information on all topics relevant for the organic sector, and by coordinating networks for communication, exchange and close collaboration.
