Mission & Goals

The Bulgarian Association of Music Producers (BAMP) is a non-profit association that brings together leading Bulgarian producers in the field of the sound recording industry. Established in 1996, BAMP is the only organization of its kind to represent and protect the rights and interests of producers and distributors of sound recordings and music video products on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The main objective of the Association is to assist the competent state authorities in organizing and coordinating activities related to the fight against piracy. BAMP is well-known to its law enforcement and administrative authorities, authorized to enforce intellectual property laws, in the music community and among the general public. The international prestige of BAMP is also eloquently mentioned in the fact that in 1999 it was recognized as a National group of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
