Mission & Goals
1. to support, promote and popularize the activity of the asset management companies in Bulgaria; 2. to consolidate and coordinate the efforts of its members and to uphold and safeguard their professional interests; 3. to work with its members for the upholding of high standards of professionalism, applicable to the asset management activity.

Capital Markets Union, UCITS Directive, AIFMD, PRIIPs, MiFID II and MiFIR, Prospectuses Regulation, MMFR, PEPP, SFDR, SFTR, EMIR, MAR, Investor Compensation Schemes Directive, Takeover Directive, IORP II, AML/CFT legislation, GDPR, Retail Investment Strategy, ESG policies etc.
Communication Activities
Letters to ESMA and EIOPA with regard to the legal regime of the delegation of investment management functions by pension funds to asset management companies. Work with the national and EU regulators with regard to the optimization of the regulation of the distribution of UCITS funds. Rationalization of the AML/CFT regime with regard to facilitation of cross-border transactions and remote establishment of contractual relations. Work with regard to initiatives of EFAMA. Enhanced cooperation with national associations of asset managers from Central and East European countries.

Member Of
European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA). Ms. Natalia Petrova is member of the Board of Directors of EFAMA. BAAMC is the current secretary of the Users Commitee with the Bulgarian Central Securities Depositary. BAAMC is the new chairman of the National Corporate Governance Commission of Bulgaria.
