Mission & Goals
One of BIFA’s main roles is to ensure that Member views are reflected at national and international level to government, other non-government bodies and where appropriate, other trade bodies. BIFA also facilitates Policy Group meetings with government officials allowing Members to effectively express their views. Members are also urged to engage with BIFA through the regularly attendance of its regional meetings facilitated by their regional consultants.
EU Legislative Interests
Customs legislation, logistics, freight forwarding and policies relative border operations and other requirements specific in particular to the Windsor Framework and Northern Ireland. Registration on the register is specifically linked to BIFA's membership of the Northern Ireland Business Stakeholders Group on the implementation of the Windsor Framework.
