Mission & Goals
The British Agriculture Bureau (BAB) champions UK farming and growing in Brussels and provides professional representation and services to the members of the National Farmers’ Union of England, NFU Cymru (Wales), National Farmers’ Union of Scotland and the Ulster Farmers’ Union. Through NFU, BAB is a member of Copa Cogeca. The main aims and objectives of BAB are to: provide political representation at European level; inform UK farming unions about important political, commercial or legislative changes that may impact on members; engage with EU and third country agri-food stakeholders based in Brussels; influence political decisions on agriculture by lobbying the EU public institutions, European and international organisations.
